One year after the launch of the project, the ADVISE Consortium met for a second time at KTU's facilities in Kaunas, Lithuania on October 10th - 11th 2018.
The objective of this two-day meeting was to review the work progresses achieved during the first year of the project and discuss about future activities. The annual Consortium Meeting also provides a perfect opportunity to consolidate effective work collaborations between all partners involved.
Several ADVISE partners will be attending the annual Review of Progress in Quantitative Nondestructive Evaluation on July 15-19th 2018 in Burlington, Vermont, USA.
If you wish to know more about the ADVISE project, its first results and about related progresses in the NDE field, Andreas Schumm from EDF will be giving an oral presentation (n°214 “Multiple Scattering Filtering for Volumetric and Plane Defects”) at 9:50AM and Michal Kalkowski from Imperial College London (n°153 “Austenitic weld stiffness map inversion powered by GPU-accelerated finite element simulations”) at 4:50PM on July 18th, 2018.
Several ADVISE partners are attending the 12th European Conference on Non-Destructive Testing from June 11-15th 2018 in Gothenburg, Sweden.
The annual ECNDT provides an excellent opportunity to strengthen global collaboration in NDT research and innovation. Gathering a large number of experts in the field of NDT, it is a great opportunity to introduce them the ADVISE project, and build on existing results in this field.
Andreas Schumm, the ADVISE Project Coordinator as well as project partners Pierre Calmon (CEA), Pierre-Emile Lhuillier (EDF), Souad Bannouf (EXTENDE), Martin Spies (Fraunhofer) and Peter Huthwaite (ICL) will be giving oral presentations in their field of expertise at the annual conference.
